Start playing at Sky Poker directly from your Web Browser such as Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla/Firefox AOL etc.

You will need JavaScript enabled and Adobe Flash Player, as soon as you try to open a table, the latest Flash software will automatically be installed on your computer.

Recommended Minimum PC Requirements

Sky Poker has been built to operate on nearly all modern computers.

Our recommended minimum requirements are:

    * Any extra level PC with Intel Pentium 4 1.5Ghz or above / AMD  Athlon 2.2Ghz or above or similar processor.
    * Windows XP Home operating system.
    * Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 / Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 / Mozilla Firefox 2.0.1
    * Memory 512MB with a minimum of 128MB available.
    * Minimum of 56k dial-up modem with ISP connection, however, we recommend broadband connection where available.

Please check your ISP's terms and conditions, selecting a service provider which is capable of delivering the levels of service and connectivity you require.

If you are having trouble connecting to Sky Poker, you will find two options below that could help you access the site. Information is given for guidance purposes only and no liability is accepted by Skypoker.com with regards to any changes made by the customer.


Allowing http access via port 1500

If you are having problems accessing the Sky Poker tables and an error message reading 'Unable to connect to the table' is seen, you will need to allow the http address access via this port.

    * To start, double click on the Norton Internet Security icon which is located at the bottom right of your desk top.
    * Select 'Options' and then 'Norton Internet Security'
    * Select the 'Firewall' tab
    * On the HTTP Port List find port 1500 and click 'Remove' then click 'OK'.

How to configure your Firewall to allow access to Skypoker.com

There are several different types of firewall available and even though they may look different, the general options within your firewall will be the same as the example used.

    * To start, double click on the Norton Internet Security icon which is located at the bottom right of your desk top.
    * Select 'Norton Internet Security' from the menu on the left.
    * Choose 'Personal Firewall' and click the 'Configure' button on the right hand side.
    * Click the 'Advanced' tab and then select 'Secondary'.
    * Click 'Add'.
    * Select 'Permit' and then click 'Next'.
    * Ensure 'Connections to other computers' is highlighted and click 'Next'.
    * Ensure 'Any computer' is selected and click 'Next'.
    * Select 'TCP and UDP' and 'Only the types of communication or ports listed below' and click 'Add'.
    * Select 'Individually specified ports' and 'Local' and enter 8080 and click 'OK'.
    * Click 'Next' and then click 'Next' again.
    * Rename the rule as 'Sky Poker' and click 'Next'.
    * Finally click 'Next' and then click 'Finish', followed by 'OK'
